Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Delv Global LLC (“Delv Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when people use delvglobal.co, Delv Global portals, forms, candidate profiles, video tools, async interview workflows, communications, and talent sourcing and placement services.

Delv Global helps companies hire remote professionals from Latin America through curated shortlists, full candidate profiles, video introductions, asynchronous interviews, identity verification when included in the workflow, flat-fee placement services, optional HR support and payroll administration, and human-reviewed hiring support.

This Privacy Policy applies to website visitors, clients, hiring teams, candidates, applicants, contractors, portal users, and anyone who communicates with Delv Global or uses our services.

A signed Master Service Agreement, Service Order, or other written agreement may add engagement-specific privacy, security, confidentiality, or data-processing terms.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, company name, role, location, and communication preferences.
  • Client information: hiring needs, role requirements, compensation ranges, time-zone needs, interview availability, company details, billing details, and service preferences.
  • Candidate information: resume, profile details, work history, education, skills, tools, certifications, language ability, location, time zone, availability, compensation expectations, portfolio links, work samples, case studies, internet speed information, and remote-work context.
  • Candidate media: profile pictures, video introductions, asynchronous interview responses, audio, transcripts, written responses, portfolio files, work samples, case study materials, and related interview or profile materials.
  • Identity verification information: verification status, timestamps, candidate identifiers, provider reference IDs, and related confirmation metadata when identity verification is used.
  • Portal and account information: login details, account activity, profile updates, messages, preferences, uploaded documents, and workflow status.
  • Payment and administrative information: invoice details, payment status, service plans, payroll-support records, contractor payment coordination details, and tax or administrative documents when needed for a service.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, cookie identifiers, analytics events, and website performance data.
  • Communications: emails, form submissions, chat messages, call notes, consultation details, support requests, feedback, and other messages exchanged with Delv Global.

2. Information candidates provide

Candidates and talent may provide information when applying to join the Delv Global Talent Network, creating or updating a profile, submitting work samples, recording video introductions, answering async interview questions, completing identity verification, communicating with Delv Global, or participating in a hiring workflow.

Candidate information may be used to evaluate fit, create candidate profiles, prepare curated shortlists, share profiles with potential clients, coordinate interviews, support placement, and operate Delv Global services.

Candidates can control profile visibility in their portal settings. A candidate may choose to hide their profile from everyone, make it visible only inside the Delv Global network, or make it public. Candidates may also choose whether their public profile can be indexed by search engines for discoverability.

Candidates can delete their own profile through the candidate portal by going to settings and choosing the deletion option. The deletion process is automated. Once a profile is deleted, Delv Global cannot recover the deleted profile information from the active portal account.

3. Information clients provide

Clients and hiring teams may provide information when booking a consultation, submitting a hiring request, reviewing a shortlist, using a client portal, sending async interview questions, communicating with Delv Global, paying invoices, or adding HR support or payroll administration.

Client information may be used to understand hiring needs, prepare searches, match candidates, coordinate interviews, support hiring workflows, process payments, and provide customer support.

4. Video introductions and async interviews

Delv Global may collect, host, process, format, transcribe, summarize, display, and share video introductions, asynchronous interview responses, audio, transcripts, and related interview content for hiring and candidate evaluation purposes.

Async interviews allow clients to send role-specific questions, candidates to record answers before a deadline, and clients to review responses on their own schedule before deciding whether to proceed to live interviews.

Candidate videos and async interview responses may be shared with potential clients and hiring teams as part of the candidate evaluation process. Public testimonials, case studies, marketing videos, or public promotional materials are used only with appropriate permission.

5. Identity verification data

Delv Global may offer identity verification as an additional trust layer for certain candidates, roles, clients, or hiring workflows. Identity verification may be requested before an interview, before final selection, or when a role requires additional verification.

When identity verification is used, Delv Global may work with a third-party identity verification provider. The provider may collect and process information such as name, date of birth, government identification documents, document images, selfies or facial images, biometric or liveness signals where supported by the provider, device or session information, fraud-prevention signals, and verification results.

The exact checks may vary by country, document type, provider availability, client request, role sensitivity, and workflow. These checks may include document authenticity review, facial matching, liveness detection, database validation, fraud-risk review, or other identity verification methods supported by the provider.

Delv Global does not intentionally store copies of government IDs, selfies, biometric or liveness images, or raw identity verification documents in its own systems. Delv Global may receive and store limited verification-related information, such as verification status, timestamps, candidate identifiers, provider reference IDs, and confirmation metadata needed to support the hiring process, comply with our records, and communicate verification status to clients when appropriate.

The third-party identity verification provider may process and retain identity verification data according to its own privacy policy, data processing terms, security practices, and legal obligations. Candidates should review the provider's privacy information before completing the verification flow.

Identity verification is not performed for every candidate unless it is included in the applicable service, agreement, or workflow.

7. AI, automation, and human review

Delv Global may use artificial intelligence, automation, and software tools to support sourcing, candidate organization, profile formatting, interview summaries, shortlist preparation, internal quality review, communications, and administrative workflows.

AI and automation support Delv Global's hiring operations. They do not replace human review, client hiring decisions, candidate responsibilities, or legal compliance obligations.

We do not permit clients to use candidate profiles, videos, interview responses, or candidate materials to train AI models or build external hiring databases without written permission from Delv Global and any required candidate consent.

8. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Clients and hiring teams: candidate profiles, shortlists, video introductions, async interview responses, availability, compensation expectations, and related hiring materials.

  • Service providers: vendors that support hosting, portals, forms, scheduling, communications, analytics, payments, identity verification, video hosting, security, and operations.
  • Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, consultants, auditors, insurers, or other advisors when needed.
  • Legal and safety recipients: regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
  • Business transfer recipients: parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell candidate personal information. We share candidate materials with clients and hiring teams for hiring evaluation, placement, platform operation, and related business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

9. HR support and payroll administration

If a client adds Delv Global HR support or payroll administration, we may collect and process information needed to coordinate independent contractor payments, documentation, administrative support, and related operational assistance.

This support is for independent contractor engagements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Delv Global does not become the legal employer of any contractor and does not assume responsibility for employment classification, tax withholding, benefits, statutory employment obligations, immigration compliance, or country-specific labor compliance.

10. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

Delv Global may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the website, improve performance, understand usage, prevent abuse, remember preferences, support forms, and evaluate marketing effectiveness.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some website or portal features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

If Delv Global uses advertising, retargeting, or similar marketing technologies, we will use them in accordance with applicable law and update disclosures where needed.

Cookies we use may include essential cookies needed for the website to function, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used, and preference cookies that remember limited settings. Marketing or advertising cookies will be used with appropriate notice or consent where required by law.

Some privacy laws treat targeted advertising, retargeting, or cross-context behavioral advertising as a “sale,” “sharing,” or opt-out activity even when no money is exchanged. If Delv Global uses those technologies in a way that creates additional opt-out rights, we will provide the required notice and controls.

11. Legal bases and consent

Depending on your location, Delv Global may rely on one or more legal bases to process personal information, including consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, protection of rights and safety, or another lawful basis under applicable privacy law.

Where consent is required, such as for certain video, verification, testimonial, marketing, or sensitive-data workflows, Delv Global will seek consent through the applicable form, portal, provider flow, agreement, or communication.

Delv Global does not knowingly sell sensitive personal information. Where a law requires consent for sensitive information, including certain identity verification, biometric, liveness, or payment-related workflows, we will seek consent through the applicable workflow before processing that information.

12. Sensitive information

Candidates and clients should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information unless specifically requested for a legitimate service purpose.

When sensitive information is needed for identity verification, contractor payment support, compliance, or a specific hiring workflow, Delv Global will use it only for the purpose for which it was collected and as otherwise permitted by law.

13. International processing

Delv Global is based in the United States and works with clients, candidates, service providers, and contractors across Latin America and other countries.

Information may be processed, transferred, stored, or accessed in the United States, Latin America, or other jurisdictions where Delv Global, clients, candidates, or service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

Where required by applicable law, Delv Global relies on appropriate legal mechanisms for international data transfers, which may include standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, or other lawful transfer tools.

14. Data retention

Delv Global retains information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, operate the Talent Network, maintain candidate and client records, support hiring workflows, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Client records, invoices, payment history, service records, placement records, and related correspondence are typically retained for up to 10 years to meet legal, tax, accounting, contractual, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Candidate profile data is retained until deleted by the candidate or for up to 5 years after last account activity, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Candidate profiles and hiring materials may be retained during that period so Delv Global can consider candidates for future opportunities.

When a candidate deletes their profile through the candidate portal, the active portal profile is deleted through an automated process and cannot be recovered by Delv Global. Some information may remain in backups, audit logs, legal records, billing records, security logs, prior client communications, or records that Delv Global is required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or compliance reasons.

Videos, interview responses, candidate profile data, client records, invoices, verification metadata, and support communications may have different retention periods depending on the service, legal requirements, operational needs, and whether the user requests deletion.

15. Security

Delv Global uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, portal, email system, vendor, or internet transmission is completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for notifying Delv Global if they believe their account, candidate materials, or communications have been accessed without authorization.

If Delv Global becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will evaluate the incident and provide notices where required by applicable law.

16. Candidate profile controls

Candidates can manage profile visibility in the candidate portal. Visibility choices may include hiding the profile from everyone, making the profile visible only within the Delv Global network, or making the profile public.

Candidates can also choose whether a public profile may be indexed by search engines. Search engine indexing can help discoverability, but search engines are operated by third parties and may take time to update or remove indexed pages after a profile setting changes.

Candidates can delete their profile from portal settings. Deletion is automated and cannot be reversed by Delv Global once completed. Deletion may not remove information that has already been shared with clients for hiring evaluation or information that Delv Global is required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, accounting, dispute, or compliance reasons.

17. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about how your personal information is used and shared.

To make a privacy request, contact us at info@delvglobal.co. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, security needs, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, backup systems, or other permitted reasons.

If we decline a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing info@delvglobal.co with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will review appeals as required by applicable law.

18. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and rights to opt out of certain uses of personal information, including sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain sensitive-data processing where applicable.

Delv Global does not sell candidate personal information as a standalone data product. If our practices change in a way that requires additional opt-out rights or disclosures, we will update this Privacy Policy and related controls.

19. International privacy rights

Users outside the United States may have privacy rights under laws that apply in their location, including rights to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or request a copy of personal information. We will review requests according to the laws that apply to the requester and to Delv Global.

Because Delv Global works with clients, candidates, service providers, and tools across multiple countries, information may be transferred internationally as described in this Privacy Policy.

20. Children

Delv Global services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Delv Global, contact us so we can review and address the issue.

21. Third-party websites and services

Delv Global may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services, including candidate portals, client portals, payment processors, identity verification providers, video hosting tools, analytics tools, scheduling tools, form tools, and communication platforms.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Delv Global is not responsible for third-party privacy, security, or data practices except where required by law.

22. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Delv Global may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when the Privacy Policy was last revised.

Your continued use of the website, portals, or services after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means the updated Privacy Policy applies to your continued use.
